CEO, CFO and Portfolio Manager

Marcus (Ming) Xu is the CEO, CFO and Portfolio Manager at M.Y. Capital Management Corp. Mr. Xu obtained the CFA designation in 2006. Prior to establishing M.Y. Capital in June of 2012, he held the Director of Equity Investments position at a well-known asset management firm in Vancouver, BC. He has 18 years of experience in the investment management industry, with an area of expertise ranging from portfolio construction, risk management to investment research and trading. Mr. Xu has also been a regular contributor to Business News Network (BNN), Bloomberg News, Reuters and Wall Street Transcripts.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Windsor, Ontario, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics from Peking University, Beijing, China.

Chief Compliance Officer

Prior to joining the team, Kelvin was most recently the CFO and CCO of a Vancouver-based investment management firm, overseeing the firm’s finance, compliance and operations as the firm grew to $1 billion in assets under management.

Kelvin graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.

Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer

Rabbie Gill is the CIO and Portfolio Manager at M.Y. Capital Management Corp. He has over 20 years of capital markets experience including portfolio construction, risk management, asset allocation, product development, business management, corporate finance and regulatory. He has developed a proprietary investment process to better manage asset allocation and risk management throughout the business cycle.

Mr. Gill holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

Investment Analyst

Snow Lin has joined M.Y. Capital Management Corp. as an Investment Analyst in 2021. She is responsible for supporting the Portfolio Managers and the Compliance Officer. She also contributes to daily operations and providing high quality service to clients.

Mrs. Lin holds a Bachelor of International Economics from the University of British Columbia.

Associate

Aman Aujla is an Associate at M.Y Capital Management Corp. involved in various roles from operations, analysis, and investment management & strategy. Aman has experience in internet marketing, financial advisory, portfolio management, and commercial banking.

Mr. Aujla is a CFA Charterholder, and graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce.

Senior Financial Analyst

Peng Xu is a Financial Analyst at M.Y. Capital Management Corp. He has over 20 years of accounting, investment and industry experience and in-depth understanding in fintech and financial service areas. He has been working with the largest accounting firms, as well as the leading fintech company, for many years.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics from Peking University located in Beijing, China.
